How long have you been working for AFP?
I have been working for AFP since they first started in January of 2013. I still remember my first party as Cinderella in St. Helena. It feels like so long ago. I’m so proud of Stephanie for everything she has accomplished, and for creating magic for children and opportunities for young performers to do what they love.

When did you know you wanted to be a princess party performer?

I knew I wanted to be a performer when I was 9 years old. My mom signed me up for a summer camp at Cinnabar Theater. It was a 12 week intensive camp where all the kids would learn songs and dances from 9-3 or so and it culminated in 6 performances at the end of summer for the parents to come see. I did it 7 years in a row, and then continued to do shows outside of that as well as take classes. I was hooked!

What is your favorite food and movie?

Favorite food is hands down, sushi! Every day, all day if I could afford it. My favorite movie is The Notebook, because I’m a romantic, and I love Ryan Gosling. ( and Rachel McAdams too!)

What are five things you can’t live with out?

My daughter, my husband, my mom, my deodorant and of course, water. (I had to add something practical)

Other than performing, what are you passionate about?

I am passionate about motherhood. Being a mom is an honor and a privilege. Since the day Emmalina was born I have felt peace within my heart. She brings me endless joy.  I truly believe that the purpose of life is to create life, so that life goes on. The fact that we as women are able to literally create a life inside of us, let alone deliver it into this world and start from scratch with a brand new human soul is the most beautiful precious thing in this world.

What is the most rewarding part about working for AFP?

The most rewarding thing about working for AFP is just being able to be a part of making dreams come true for children. The smiles on their faces, the gleam in their eyes…it is so beautiful and so sweet. It’s magical. These are memories that will last a lifetime.
